About Me
My journey into health and wellness began in 2015, sparked by a desire to help others find relief from stress and pain through Swedish massage. This initial spark ignited a passion for understanding the intricate workings of the human body and mind, leading me to qualify in a diverse range of massage modalities, including Indian Head Massage and Reflexology, and to become a certified Meditation and Mindfulness Practitioner.
That same year, I embraced the world of running, culminating in my first 10k, and expanded my fitness regime to include swimming and cycling, ultimately leading me to triathlons. This increased activity brought its own set of challenges in the form of niggling injuries. Driven by a desire to understand, prevent, and resolve these issues, I embarked on a path of deeper learning, completing my Level 3 and Level 4 Sports Massage qualifications, and in 2021, I proudly qualified as a Bodymaster Method Practitioner under the mentorship of the esteemed John Gibbons. John's Bodymaster Method® embraces a holistic philosophy, recognizing the body as an interconnected unit where addressing one dysfunction may require diverse expertise.
Believing strongly in the synergy of physical and mental well-being – 'A healthy mind and a healthy body = a healthy and better life' – I further expanded my skills to include certifications as a Pilates instructor, Yoga instructor, and Personal Trainer.
In the last eighteen months, my commitment to providing cutting-edge care led me to complete Dry Cupping and Dry Needling certifications with Dawn Morse of Core Elements, as well as qualify as an Indoor Cycle Instructor.
As a hands-on therapist and physical practitioner, I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of new legislation, trends, and scientific advancements. I continuously expand my skillset to ensure I can provide the most effective and up-to-date services to my clients in Aberystwyth and Ceredigion.
